A SAMPLE FROM JAGGED THOUGHTS
I’D LIKE TO EXPLAIN SOMETHING
spiders crawl over me
using my lesions to
anchor their webs to
pull themselves up to
look over the view
and those self same spiders
enter my cranium to
look into what to do
about my tendency to
beguile the view to
what the spiders have been seeking is
to build a bridge to
an alternate view
where live only a few
who can stand the view
because what the spiders imagine is
a world view
split into
an infinite view
with all eyes askew
what the spiders don’t get
is what they are up to
is the normal view
of a mankind who
is split into two
a spider’s imagination is what it is about
knowing who is who
in this world to
which we are stuck to
and don’t know who is who
but had the idea of spiders in the first place
then couldn’t view
but thought they knew
thinking this through
would make it all true
so now the spiders sleep inside my brain
